The man convicted of killing Pa. bar bathroom

A northeastern Pennsylvania jury has convicted a man in the shooting death of another man in a bar restroom.

Luzerne County jurors found 33-year-old Jabbar Wallace guilty of third-degree murder on Wednesday in the death of 23-year-old Eric Cusaac. The Brooklyn, N.Y., man was killed in the Glass Bar in Edwardsville in December 2007.

Wallace, of Wyoming, Pa., is to be sentenced May 11. Prosecutors say he faces a minimum sentence of six years and a maximum of 20 to 40 years.

Wallace said he acted in self-defense after Cusaac punched him in the face and threw him into a wall. His attorney says he is disappointed by the verdict. But prosecutors say Wallace's actions after the shooting - such as leaving the bar and not telling police - did not mesh with the self-defense argument.
